Our two biggest additions to Diwaniya: automatic hosting, and a big screen that brings the whole session together.
AI-run hosting
NewChoose "Automatic" when you create the room and the server takes care of the rest: it deals the roles, calls the night, collects the votes and announces the result — while you play with your friends as a regular player, with a card just like theirs.

The TV screen

Is the game free?
Yes! Godfather is free with no player limit, and Diwaniya is free for up to 8 players with the classic roles. A subscription unlocks 7 special roles and raises the limit to 30 players, with secret chats and the big reveal.
How many players can join?
From 4 up to 30 players in a single room. The sweet spot is 8 to 15 players for a balanced game.
Do I need to download an app?
No. The game runs straight in the browser (Chrome or Safari) on your phone or computer — share the link and start right away. More about playing without a download.
What is the difference between Godfather and Diwaniya?
Godfather: one device runs everything — perfect for a quick session. Diwaniya: every player sees their role on their own phone, with secret chats — perfect for families and get-togethers.
How do I start?

What happens at night and during the day?
At night everyone sleeps and the abilities play out in secret: the Mafia choose a victim, the Detective investigates and the Doctor protects. During the day the night's events are announced, the discussion starts, and then everyone votes to eliminate a suspect — and the rounds repeat until one team wins. The full rules are here.
We play with cards — is the game any use to us?
Yes: Godfather mode replaces the cards completely — it deals the roles secretly with one tap on a single device and guides the narrator step by step, so no card gets exposed and no split has to be worked out by hand. And the players need no devices at all. Mafia with cards, and its alternative.
